The front page of this website displays all accommodations listed by us. Click to each of them to get more details.
There’s also “Browse Accommodation” panel top-right of the site to help climbers find the best match for their needs. Accommodations can be browsed according to several criteria (by selecting any of them from drop-down lists):
Location – if you wish to stay in a scecific village. From the three most popular of them, Armeos is located norhternmost, meaning it’s the closest one to most climbing crags. Massouri is located in the middle of the coast and is the biggest among them, it’s also where you will find the highest number of bars, restaurants, sport-shops etc. Myrties is in the southern part, making it the closest one to Pothia (the gateway to and from the island), it’s also where boats to Telendos island start from. You can also check the map for refference.
Accomodation type – there are mainly two types of accommodation here. Studios are most common, locally owned, home-style accommodations. Typical studio is a big room with one double or two single beds, private batrhoom with shower, a kithenette, separate entrance and a balcony or terrace. There are ususally several studios in one house, with the owners living in one of them. Hotels are what they are everywhere else, ensuited rooms, usually with balcony/terrace, but not always with self-catering facilities. Typical hotel facilities are usually provided as well (24h reception, tour/information desk, booking taxis etc.)
Preffered guests – this is to suggest what type of groups fit each accommodation best. Most studios are designed to host two people in each room (not neccessarily a couple, but be sure to ask for separate beds!) Owners are usually flexible with families’ needs – they will put extra foldable beds for children. Hence the category “groups of 2 & families“. As for single travellers, it may be easier to get a single room in a hotel, but some studios are flexible on that and won’t charge you the full price for 2 people. “Single climbers and small groups” category lists this kind of accommodations. And if you wish to book for more than 20 people, try “Larger groups“. As most houses have 5-10 studio-type rooms, big groups can stay together in hotels or big studio-houses.
Number of rooms – this is to give you an idea on how big each property is. Some people will prefer to stay in cosy little houses (1-5 rooms), others will need something bigger for their group of friends (6-10 rooms) or even more than that (more than 10 rooms)
All of the above information is displayed for every property (when you select it from the list), as well as contact details (email and phone number), description, photos and price.
Please Note: displayed price is a guide price of a double/twin room for 2 people for 1 night. Prices may be higher in high season (April-May and September-October) and lower in low season, and may be negotiable for longer stays or bigger groups. It is neccessary to contact the owners directly and ask for specific price for your desired dates and number of people in your party.
